About

Hi.  I’m Jennifer.  I’m a wife, mother, blogger, and author.

I love to write.  It took me 40 years to discover the author in me. It’s my passion.  And a new journey.  This year I took some of my childhood messes and turned them into messages. My desire is to embrace this big world with encouragement and love through my writing.

There was a time when domestic violence was an everyday event for me.  I want my books to be used as tools to help unlock the unspoken matters of the heart in children all over the world.  One of my favorite quotes which I’ve used in several of my books is from abolitionist and statesman, Frederick Douglass—“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” This quote continues to inspire me as I write for children.

Here you’ll find blogs about anything and everything and about life in general.  That means you may find topics for working moms, marriage, faith (I love Jesus), and whatever else comes to mind. If you’re looking for daily encouragement, you’ve found it.

I’m working on my first novelette.  I hope to be done with it by the beginning of 2017. If I had to come up with a description in a nutshell, it would go something like this: “A visit to a fortune teller.  A dream about the gap in a man’s front teeth.  A map to freedom and a dream fulfilled for a little girl trapped in the body of a prostitute.”

Here is a list of the children books I’ve written and published so far:
